About the chapter
California at a glance
California is the founding chapter of NCDA-USA. In 2001, a small circle of Nkwen sons and daughters in California formally organized the Nkwen Cultural and Development Association in the United States, opening the doors for chapters that followed across the country.
Today the chapter spans Southern California and the Bay Area, anchoring the diaspora's largest cultural celebrations on the West Coast and stewarding the relationship between NCDA-USA and the Fon's palace.
