About the convention

A five-day Nkwen homecoming in the DMV.

Join the Nkwen Cultural and Development Association as we gather in the DMV for the 2026 National Convention. Five days of fellowship, culture, faith, and celebration — bringing together Nkwen sons, daughters, and friends from across the United States.

From the Cultural Jamboree to a lunch cruise on the Potomac and our Sunday Sports & BBQ Festival, this is a homecoming you won't want to miss. Together we are stronger.
